This blade has been forged out of large diameter W2 round bar and has been clay coated to produce the hamon. The blade has a tapered tang and has nice distal taper. The blade has been hand rubbed to 2500 grit and lightly etched and polished to bring out the hamon. The bolsters and pins are 416 stainless steel, the pins have been domed. The scales are stabilized spalted Oregon Ash with lots of black line.
